I don’t even know where to start, wow, just wow! We arrived to Sedona at 6:30 Pacific time, last night. After a spiritual car ride, an amazing sunset, and not even two hours into our arrival; well things just changed. Todd and I decided to change our travel plan. Let me just explain. After a three day, hell bent, trip. After a car breakdown, and having the shit scared out of me, let’s just say the drive from Amarillo was enlightening. After the ride through Texas, which was windmill plentiful, New Mexico was earth moving, I thought. New Mexico offered an amazing high desert, prairies and desert plains, but Arizona gave us high desert plains, mesas and Sedona! Once we entered Sedona, it was as if someone turned on the “beauty” switch. Once we entered Sedona, every doubt I ever had, that God exist, was washed away. I felt ashamed to ever had doubted. Beauty beyond belief, and it is only “here”. If you travel out of Sedona, although you see minimal Red Rock here and there; well just not the same. Today was action packed. We did a killer hike of Brins Mesa, it was 101 degrees, at the least. The heat is crazed out here. You don’t realize you are sweating, as it just evaporates. A gallon of water and 2+ miles, well I felt enlightened and accomplished! We then visited Chapel of the Holy Cross, scouted out tomorrows hikes, visited Alcantara Winery and had dinner at Creekside Grille. Chapel of Holy Cross brought me to tears. What I felt in that chapel was unreal. Todd and I lit numerous candles for the people we pray for and those who have sacrificed their lives for us. Nothing, and I mean, nothing, I post will display the spiritual movement created in Sedona. Now I remain poolside composing this grammatically challenged post. I am exhausted. Tomorrow is another action pack day for me and my mule. Big love and peace from Sedona!
