lizards to sunsets: road trip 2018 May 29

Today was action packed with lizards and sunsets.

Our day started out with a 6 mile hike.  Soldier Pass to Brins Mesa to Jordan Trail.  It was a great workout, with rewarding views.  The heat kicked in on the last leg of our hike.  Note to self: “buy sunscreen”.

Hiking here is spiritual and something mystical and magical consumes you.  There is a faint smell that the clay emits, it smells like church.  I can’t explain it any better.  There are quite a few vortex’ which surround us, and they all have unique properties.  They bring healing and energy.  There is mega energy here.  Beneath the endless beauty beats a healing heart.

After our hike we stopped for a late breakfast at The Coffee Pot, a must if or when you visit.  Great place with great food, outside patio and a small gift shop.  We then took a nice ride to some local areas, looking at possible relocation areas in the near future.  I really love Sedona, but it would not be practical for us.  We are currently following properties in Cornville and Cottonwood.  During our ride I we had on Howard Stern and he was interviewing Sia.  If you have not heard this interview or know who Sia is, get on it.  It was an incredibly beautiful interview.

We hung out at our beautiful resort for the afternoon and I got some nice photo ops.  We awaited the sunset.  Sunset was incredible.  I hope you are enjoying my blog and the photos.  It makes us happy to share our experience with you.  Peace from Sedona.
